SOCIAL MEDIA BULLYING
Concerns with on-line bullying through the use of a social media app called After School have been reported to RE-1 administration. This app is anonymous and actively promotes hateful comments towards others. This behavior can best be addressed when students, families, schools and communities work together to take a stand against bullying. Students are being encouraged to delete the app and report any inappropriate behavior. Families can help by monitoring their children's use of social media and by talking to their children about the dangers of on-line bullying. A list of on-line resources is available below.

When someone dies, it can be difficult to know how to help your child cope with the loss, particularly as you work through your own grief. How much kids can understand about death depends largely on their age, life experiences, and personality.
